höruf is designed for digital wellness and privacy. It uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks (FamilyControls, DeviceActivity and ManagedSettings) to run session-based limits and cooldowns entirely on your device.
höruf does not create accounts and does not collect personal data for tracking or analytics. The app stores the following on your device:
Storage is implemented via Apple App Group UserDefaults to share settings between the app and its extensions.
App activity monitoring and shielding are provided by Apple's Screen Time APIs. höruf does not transmit your app usage or selections to any server.
höruf may send optional local notifications (e.g., a one-minute remaining reminder). You can enable or disable these in the app settings or iOS Settings.
höruf includes an in-app feedback board powered by WishKit. If you choose to submit feedback or a feature request, the content you submit (and only what you submit) is sent to WishKit so we can view and manage it. höruf does not send any usage analytics to WishKit, and we do not provide personal identifiers. If you include contact details in your feedback, that information will be visible to us via WishKit.
höruf uses PostHog for product analytics to help us understand how the app is used and improve the user experience. PostHog collects usage data such as feature interactions and session information, along with a distinct ID generated by PostHog to identify your app instance. No app usage details from Screen Time are sent to PostHog. You can learn more about PostHog's privacy practices at posthog.com/docs/privacy.
höruf contains no ads.
Your settings and state remain on your device and are removed when you delete the app. Feedback you submit via WishKit is stored by WishKit on our behalf until we delete it.
For privacy questions or requests, open höruf and go to Settings → Feedback to contact us. You can also reach us via the App Store listing's support link.
We may update this policy as höruf evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date above when changes are made.
